PUBLIC SAFETY
Vision StatementThe Marshall Division of Public Safety, Marshall Police Department, as a part of, and empowered by, the Community, is committed to work with the larger community to foster and promote the public safety of the City of Marshall, while safeguarding the constitutional rights of all people.

The City of Marshall operates a Police Department, Fire Department, HAZ MAT (C.A.T.) team under its mantle. The Police Department operates the Animal Control Kennel operations and has primary Emergency responsibilities for the City. The M.E.R.I.T. (Minnesota Emergency Response and Industrial Training) Center is a public safety facility. Emergency medical transportation is provided by North Memorial Ambulance.
