The City of Marshall will receive bids in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, for the following project:

To remove and dispose of all hazardous building materials within the Municipal Building (City Hall) located at 344 West Main Street.

All bids shall be made on the proposal forms of the City and shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the order of the City Clerk for not less than 10 percent of the amount bid.

Bids shall be directed to the City Clerk, securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper with a brief statement or summary as to the work for which the bid is made.

The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of any bid, to waive minor defects, technicalities, or any informalities in the bidding or to advertise for new proposals, and to accept that bid deemed to be in the City’s best interest.

No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.

Plans and specifications are on file in the Office of the Director of Public Works/City Engineer, 344 West Main Street, Marshall, MN 56258; 507-537-6773. Copies of the specifications and bidding documents will be furnished on request to any prospective bidder.

The bids and the responsibility of the bidders will be considered by the City Council at 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, in the Professional Development Room at the Marshall Middle School, 401 South Saratoga Street.
