Municipal building Offices to be Temporarily
Relocated STARTING DECEMBER 30TH
City of Marshall Municipal Building offices will soon be moved to temporary office space at Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU) Social Sciences Building. The temporary office locations will be utilized for approximately 18 months to allow the renovation of the current City offices located at 344 West Main Street.
The full relocation to SMSU will start Monday, December 30, 2019, and City offices will not be fully operational until Monday January 6, 2020.
Although the staff will make every effort to ensure quality service, residents and visitors may experience delays during the week December 30th. Customers who need access to City services during this time are encouraged to call the main City Hall phone number at 507-537-6760.
During the estimated year and a half renovation period, the City’s address for United States Postal Service mailings will remain the same address of 344 West Main Street. The City’s address for direct parcel delivery service will be City of Marshall, 1501 State Street, Attention City Offices.
For City office needs while at SMSU, visitors will have designated “City Office Visitor Parking” available to them, and signs will be posted to direct visitors to the temporary offices.
Any questions about the temporary relocation can also be directed to City Clerk Kyle Box at 507‑537‑6760.
