There will be a MARC (Multi Agency Resource Center) open in Tracy at the Veterans Memorial Center on Thursday, 8/16 and Friday, 8/17 from 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM each day for residents of Lyon, Murray and Redwood counties that may have unmet needs or are looking for resources to assist in issues from the flooding that occurred in early July.

The MARC will help people create personal recovery plans, navigate paperwork and find assistance for their specific flooding caused needs. Services available include signing up for muck-out, tear out and debris removal, distribution of clean-up supplies, disaster resources for residents, crisis counseling and informational resources.

There will be on-site child care available.

People registering are required to bring identification, and proof of residence to be eligible for some agencies.

Further questions can be directed to Lyon County Emergency Management Director Tammy VanOverbeke at 507-929-6615.
