poolLegion Field ParkMarshall's center for family activities is highlighted by the Marshall Aquatic Center with its (3) heated pool complex. This facility serves families from pre-school age at the wading pool to teenagers that love the 190' water slide. This multi-million-dollar facility has been a mainstay for the community. A Tier II, Boards and Blades Skate Park is located just outside the Aquatic Center and has something for everyone. The Skate Park opened in 2004 from the generous donation of a local resident and is designed with attention to the beginner and challenges for the expert skater. There is no rival to this unique facility in southern Minnesota.
Considered one of the finest baseball facilities in the State of Minnesota, American Legion Field has won national awards, hosted district, state and regional tournaments at youth, high school, and college age levels. From the ivy-covered fences to the ballpark cuisine, to the state-of-the-art scoreboard, this is heaven to the baseball purist.

Liberty Park BandshellWliberty-park-and-band-shellelcome to Liberty Park with its mature trees, a babbling brook and an historic bandshell. Recent enhancements at this iconic park include a fire engine themed playground and a permanent restroom facility. Local residents and visitors enjoy Wednesday night City Band concerts during the summer. The park is designed with attention to landscaping that has enhanced the charm of this local favorite for all ages. From the west part of Marshall, it has become the entrance to a thriving downtown.

Memorial ParkMemorial Park, located on Main Street in downtown Marshall, is a special place of recognition. The completion of the Veterans’ Memorial has demonstrated that a visual reminder of the sacrifices made can have a significant impact on our communities and citizens. The decision and process to establish this everlasting tribute in Memorial Park honors the sacrifices made by our military veterans, firefighters, and public safety personnel through the years. Through several conflicts and wars, this special place makes a profound statement of cooperation and commitment for which the City of Marshall is grateful.

9/11 Memorial commemorates one of the most significant events in our nation's history. Our own Marshall Fire Department acquired a beam from the rubble of the World Trade Center in New York City. This inspiring memorial will celebrate our nation's capacity to survive and overcome adversity and at the same time symbolize the renewal and resolve of a nation which came together that fateful day. The 9/11 Memorial will be the focus and a gathering place for our revitalized downtown. It will also honor the public safety personnel who sacrificed their lives to save others.
