The City of Marshall accepts applications only for positions that are posted.  Applications will be maintained on file for one year from date of receipt. An Employment Application is required for all positions; resumes will be accepted in addition to an application. Application materials must be received by the closing date of the position to be considered. The Human Resource Department is not responsible for failure of other agencies, internet service providers, or postal services to forward applications by the deadline. All candidates for employment will be required to submit to a criminal history background check. Some positions may also require a pre-employment physical exam, a psychological exam, a drug / alcohol screen, a driving record check, and reference checks to determine suitability for employment.
